The Advocacy and Student Welfare Division of the Student Association of the Government Studies Program, Diponegoro University, has successfully held the Voice of Ilpem (VOI) work program on Monday, May 18, 2026, at the Auditorium Room, 3rd Floor, Building A, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro. This activity is an aspiration forum designed as a platform for Government Studies students to convey evaluations, criticisms, suggestions, and various inputs regarding the learning system, academic services, and other supporting aspects within the study program environment. Carrying the theme “Deeper Listening, Realizing Change,” this program was presented as a form of the student organization’s commitment to building an open, healthy, and constructive communication space between students and lecturers as well as educational staff, in order to create an academic environment that is increasingly responsive to student needs.
The Voice of Ilpem activity was attended by approximately 200 participants, consisting of active Government Studies students from various cohorts, lecturers, educational staff, and all the organizing committee members from the Advocacy and Student Welfare Division of the Government Studies Student Association. The series of events began at 1:00 PM WIB with a participant registration process guided by Safira Maharani, followed by an official opening by Masters of Ceremony Maria Ovi Fellicia Gerrarlda and Kayla Anggita Putri. As a form of respect for academic and institutional values, all participants jointly sang the Indonesian national anthem “Indonesia Raya” and the Diponegoro University anthem. After the opening, the event continued with speeches from the Chairperson of the Voice of Ilpem Organizing Committee, Valentina Bintang Purbawidia, the Chairperson of the Government Studies Student Association for 2026, Rexza Taofik Ananda, and the Head of the Department of Politics and Government, Dr. Nur Hidayat Sardini, S.Sos., M.Si., who in his remarks expressed appreciation for the holding of this aspiration forum as a means of evaluation and continuous improvement within the academic environment.

Entering the main agenda, the Master of Ceremony read out the discussion rules as a guideline for the forum so that the activity could proceed in an orderly, open, and conducive manner for all participants. The event then continued with a session presenting the results of student aspirations delivered by Valentina Bintang Purbawidia together with Yuniz Madania Syahidanty, with the discussion focusing on evaluations of courses, faculty educational staff services, and study program educational staff services. After the presentation session concluded, the activity proceeded to an interactive discussion forum that took place communicatively between students, lecturers, and the study program representatives. In this session, students directly conveyed various aspirations regarding teaching methods, workload, academic communication, and administrative services, which were then responded to by the relevant parties as a form of joint effort to improve the quality of learning and realize real change through follow-up actions on the various aspirations that had been conveyed.
